Illustration
What is special about custom illustrations?
A good illustration tells a story. It creates emotional connection. It makes a website stand out from the crowd. An illustration works where a stock image fails - because it's unique, tailored, and truly reflects your brand.
Illustrations are not just decoration. They are tools – for storytelling, for brand identity, for clarity, for fun. Stock photos are handy, but everyone uses them. Illustrations have clear advantages: authenticity (unique to your brand), flexibility (anything is possible), emotional connection (warmer, more personal), differentiation (while everyone uses stock images, you have a distinct look).
The only disadvantage: Illustrations cost more than stock photos. But the impact is worth it – and the investment pays for itself in better engagement rates and brand perception.

Our process
-
1. Phase
Briefing & Strategy
What do you need? What is the illustration used for? Target group? Tone – funny, serious, minimalist, detailed? Colors? Style references? From this conversation a creative vision emerges.
-
2. Phase
Conception & Draft
Based on your brief and your brand, we develop a visual style. This can mean: research, sketches, inspiration collage.
-
3. Phase
Design & Elaboration
The illustrator sketches variants. Multiple approaches, different perspectives, different moods. You get these sketches and can give feedback.
-
4. Phase
Feedback & Finalization
The illustration will be finally implemented in your agreed style. Colors, details, everything comes together. Not happy? We iterate until you're happy.
-
5. Phase
Handover & Support
The illustration is delivered in all necessary formats: web-ready (RGB, PNG/WebP), print-ready (CMYK, vector if possible), animations if desired.
Who is this ideal for?
Websites & Landing pages
A large hero area with an illustrated scene creates visual impact and brand identity. Several small illustrations for different sections make the layout more interesting.
Social Media & Content
Illustrations have a higher engagement rate than stock photos. Do you use LinkedIn for B2B or Instagram for B2C? We create illustrations that fit your brand.
Print material & Branding
Flyers, brochures, posters – illustration makes print material timeless instead of interchangeable.
Digital Products & Apps
Illustrations next to feature descriptions, in documentation, in onboarding - they make complex things understandable.

FAQs
How long does a custom illustration take?
Depending on complexity, 2-4 weeks. A simple icon set is faster than a detailed, animated character design.
Can non-designers use the illustrations?
Yes, illustrations are finished assets. You can integrate them directly – no design skills required.
Can I change the illustration later?
If you get the vector file, you can adjust details yourself. For raster/digital illustrations, it's better to have an illustrator do this - we're happy to help.
What about copyright?
You get the full license. The illustration is yours, you can use it as you wish, pass it on or sell it.
